WWE’s NXT brand has a lot of very talented people and Joaquin Wilde’s presence will surely be felt soon enough on the USA Network. Sadly, right now he is injured.

The former DJZ from Impact Wrestling fame addressed the recent reports of his injury with a straight-forward tweet. He needs surgery to repair a broken eye socket which he suffered in July. They wanted to see if it would heal on its own, but it required surgery.

He promised to bounce back, no matter how hard it is. Wilde will not let this break his spirit as he will come back much better. While closing things out with “see y’all real soon,” he instilled a lot of hope that this setback isn’t going to keep him grounded for long.

Whenever i get an injury, i always bounce back. No matter how bad it gets, I come back stronger. I come back better. Nobody will ever break my spirit. Ive been through much worse than this eye socket so dont even worry. I will see yall real soon.

We’re hoping for the best as Joaquin Wilde recovers from his current injury. Hopefully, he won’t be out of action for long, and when he does make his return to the ring NXT will quickly find a spot for him on their weekly two-hour program.
