WWE Stacking LOADED NXT Show Against AEW TNT Debut

AEW will be debuting on TNT coming on October 2nd. This is something WWE knows all too well.

We previously reported that the winner of Matt Riddle and Killian Dain next week will get an NXT Title shot on October 2nd. That’s not the only title match expected on the show that week.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Shayna Baszler is expected to wrestle Candice LeRae with the NXT Women’s Title on the line during their October 2nd show as well. Of course, LeRae won a fatal four-way match for the #1 contender spot during NXT’s USA Network debut this week.

We will have to see what else WWE and NXT might be able to pull out to counter-program AEW, but they are definitely stacking a loaded show against AEW’s TNT debut right now.
