Tommaso Ciampa has been out of action for over six months, but fans are eagerly awaiting his return. It hasn’t happened yet, but his time is coming very soon.

While speaking on a teleconference after NXT’s debut on the USA Network, Triple H discussed Tommaso Ciampa’s expected return from injury. It’s only a matter of time before the Sicilian Psychopath makes his big return.

“He is getting very close. When you come down to the end of-unfortunately I’ve been through a lot of these, when you come down to the end there is this point and time when you are just chopping at the bit. You’re ready to go, you feel like you can move the world. And yet, the doctors are still like, ‘Give it a bit more, take it slow.’ That last couple of percent to getting to 100% is the most frustrating part for an athlete because you feel like you can take on the world but you can’t just quite yet. He’s ready, he’s as close as he can get. He is the racehorse right now, stomping and pulling at that gate. When that doctor tells him to go, he’s going to come flying out of there.”

Tommaso Ciampa’s return from injury could fall perfectly in the midst of the early stages in the Wednesday Night War. His presence could certainly capture interest in a big way.

The important part is that WWE isn’t rushing Tommaso Ciampa’s return from injury at all. Hopefully, he will be able to me a comeback and it will be a very long time before any such hiatus is needed again due to an injury.
