NXT will be directly going against AEW starting on October 2nd when All Elite Wrestling debuts on TNT. WWE’s developmental brand will actually debut on USA Network two weeks earlier for a nice head start.

We previously reported why NXT will be airing an hour on USA Network and an hour on WWE Network for the first two weeks. It looks like they will be playing those shows to sold out houses.

Full Sail Arena only holds about 400 fans, so this won’t really compare to the thousands of people AEW will have at their television shows, but at least they have sold out each show so far.

It should also be noted that NXT generally sells out all of their television tapings. Their house shows is another story, but Full Sail Arena has typically been very good to them.

Update: NXT sold out the 400-seat show for October 9th in five minutes.
