Pro wrestling can sometimes transition into an MMA career and it looks like another offer is on the table for such a jump

Wrestling Inc reports that Bellator is negotiating with TJ Perkins about coming in for some MMA fights. The talks are apparently pretty serious too.

The timeline that was initially offered to TJP for a fight was “too short.” Conversations are still going, so they might be able to land TJ Perkins in a fight in November.

At this point, Bellator and TJ Perkins are “discussing logistics” which includes how much he will get paid and how much he needs to weigh. It was reported the weight Bellator wanted him to fight at is too high for TJP. After all, he’s a cruiserweight.

Right now TJP is having a good time with his return to Impact Wrestling. He had nothing but glowing things to say about the incredibly talented roster.

We’ll just have to see if TJ Perkins will end up fighting in a Bellator cage, it could certainly be interesting to see go down.
