WWE Clash Of Champions is next Sunday and the company has a pretty good looking card already, but it can always get bigger.

“I know originally there was an AJ Styles match on the show,” Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio.

It only makes sense that AJ Styles should defend the WWE United States Title at Clash Of Champions. That pay-per-view is typically a night when all of WWE’s titles are defended.

It was noted that Cedric Alexander might be chosen as Styles’ opponent at this point.

The company has two more shows in Madison Square Garden for Raw and SmackDown before the big Clash Of Champions event. They also have social media which means WWE can announce a match at the click of a button.

Let’s just see what they end up adding to or altering on the Clash Of Champions card before September 15th rolls around.
