Former WCW Star Set For Impact Wrestling Return

WCW closed their doors around two decades ago, but their former stars are still popping up all over the place.

It was previously reported that Impact Wrestling re-signed Johnny Swinger to a contract. It looks like he will be around tonight for the Impact Wrestling television tapings, because he is set for a television return.

PW Insider reports that “Johnny Swinger is backstage and will officially return to the company tonight.” It wasn’t noted exactly what he’ll be doing.

Swinger has kept in good shape so he could be a valuable member to the roster. Fun fact, Stephanie McMahon allegedly fired Swinger on the spot because he reworded a WWE promo.
