AEW All Out included plenty of great moments, but one spot was so insane you didn’t even have to see it to know how big of a moment it was.

During Talk Is Jericho, Y2J told about his time at All Out. He didn’t get to actually watch some matches because he was busy preparing for the main event. Jericho did get to at least “hear” every match.

One match that Jericho heard was Jimmy Havoc’s insane win over Darby Allin and Joey Janela. Those three tore each other up and used plenty of gimmicks. One spot even saw Allin doing an ollie with a thumbtack skateboard onto Joey Janela’s back.

Jericho has done one thumbtack spot before in his career. He impaled himself with 69 thumbtacks when he took a brutal bump thanks to Dean Ambrose (now Jon Moxley).

That match was actually designed for Moxley to take the bump on the tacks, but the finish was changed so Jericho took the painful bump. This is a bump he will never take again.

Y2J explained while detailing the brutality of the triple threat match at All Out that he will never take another bump on thumbtacks again. Allin, Janela, and Havoc can do it because they’re younger, but bumping onto tacks is not a game Jericho wants to be in on anymore.
