Braun Strowman’s first assignment in WWE was as the black sheep of the Wyatt Family. This started a friendship with Bray Wyatt that continues to this day. Even Strowman didn’t know what to think of Firefly Fun House.

While speaking to Not Sam Wrestling, Braun Strowman stated that his friend Bray Wyatt shut himself off from the world while creating The Fiend persona.

Braun said Bray was in a really weird place and even he was skeptical about what Wyatt was doing. All of that doubt went away as soon as he saw what his buddy was up to.

“Bray is one of my closest friends inside and outside of the business. It’s great to have him back. He got in a pretty weird place for a while with what was going on character-wise, and he literally went into the drawing board and started from scratch. We went for a while without even talking because he went so deep into this character; he shut himself out from the world. I remember watching the very first episode of the Firefly Fun House and was thinking, ‘What the hell is this? Bray, what are you doing?’ But the more I watched, I couldn’t turn away from it. It was so intriguing what he was doing, and then they brought ‘The Fiend’ out and I was like, ‘Alright, it’s unbelievable.'”

Now Bray Wyatt could be facing Braun Strowman at Hell In A Cell if The Monster Among Men can defeat Seth Rollins for the Universal Title at Clash Of Champions. It’s interesting how things can work out, but The Fiend is certainly a different side of Wyatt that nobody expected.
