AEW included a few new faces in their Casino Battle Royale match as they introduced Mercedes Martinez, ODB, Ivelisse, Shazza McKenzie, and others. Tony Khan is not ruling out the possibility of signing any of those names.

Tony Khan said that there is interest in signing some of the women in the Casino Battle Royale who are not under contract. They don’t want to flood the market and they also need to introduce the stars they currently have under contract.

He went on to say that AEW’s plan is not to have everyone on every show, because that’s impossible. There will be certain people working each week to help introduce the world to AEW’s stars.

“On a two hour TV show you’re not going to see everybody every week necessarily so I do wanna make sure that everyone’s getting time right now and this is the first time that Penelope Ford’s wrestled for example. I wanted to get to Penelope Ford sooner, but we had a lot of people and she did a great job even though she wasn’t in the match as long as she’d like to be, but she did some great stuff.”

AEW wants to make sure they introduce their stars to a national audience the right way. This might take some time considering the size of their roster, but Khan seemed open to signing some of the surprise entrants in the Casino Battle Royale match.

In the meantime, Tony Khan and the rest of AEW will be committed to providing the best pro wrestling product possible. This might take some time to introduce new faces, but once they get the ball rolling it seems that AEW has some big plans for their future.
