Rob Gronkowski’s retirement from the New England Patriots brought on a lot of WWE rumors, and now he’s addressing them

While speaking with CBS Boston, Gronk was asked about potentially coming to WWE. He doesn’t seem interested in a full-time career, but he seemed down for one epic encounter of some sort.

“With wrestling, I don’t feel like I would be a full-time wrestler, but there is one thing I’m down for; and that’s to do like one crazy match.”

We’re not sure what kind of “crazy match” Gronkowski was talking about, but we’re intrigued. Perhaps WWE could convince him to come in and work something out with his old buddy Mojo Rawley and they could do something insane to capture some headlines.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
