Cris Cyborg hasn’t stepped in a WWE ring yet, but there’s no time like the present.

Dana White has confirmed that he is releasing Cris Cryborg from her UFC contract. Cyborg has thrown plenty of jabs at Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey in the past. Only time will tell if she will get a chance to put her money where her mouth is.

WWE has a huge roster of talent, but there could always be room for another cross-over star. If they can finally make Rousey vs Cyborg happen then that might be a big money match in WWE. The trouble might be adjusting Cyborg to the WWE style from her traditional MMA background.

Cyborg’s thick Brazilian accent might also present a problem for her in WWE. So, she might need a manager to speak for her. That could be an easy fix though as the company has plenty of good talkers and has been hiring managers in NXT recently as well.

It could be very interesting to see what Cris Cyborg decides to do next or what options are available. Bellator is always an option too, but at 34 years of age, Cris Cyborg might not be ready to retire from active competition just yet.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
