The New Day are covered in gold right now in WWE. Kofi Kingston is the WWE Champion while Xavier Woods and Big E are holding the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. This is a great spot for the New Day to be in, but it doesn’t guarantee that their merchandise is flying off the shelves.

WWE has experienced a bit of a drop in merchandise sales recently and The New Day are no exception. Brad Shepard reports that while it isn’t a significant drop, The New Day’s merchandise is currently “waning.”

According to a source in #WWE, New Day merch sales have dipped for the first time in 6 months (not a significant drop but definitely waning).

Things could certainly pick up for The New Day in terms of merchandise sales. Because all it takes is a good item on WWE’s shop and they’re right back in business.

This dip in sales is reportedly the first drop they’ve seen in 6 months, but even if they continue to slip at least they had five years of consistent sales with loads of merchandise across many different departments. So that’s something to be very proud of.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
