Big Rumored Summerslam Match Reportedly Not Happening

WWE is stacking a loaded card for Summerslam as we expect them to. They will have a lot of matches on the card to entice fans, but one rumored match is not happening with the OC.

AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows are now calling themselves the OC because they are the “only club” that matters. However, they are not facing The New Day as first thought according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The current lineup internally only lists one match from that list, which would be Styles vs. Ricochet. The indication is that New Day match will not be happening.

Ricochet vs AJ Styles on a big stage is still a great match to look forward to. Hopefully, WWE allows those two to go out there and put on a great contest to give Toronto everything they have in the tank.

If WWE books Styles vs Ricochet properly, it won’t even matter who wins at the end of the match because each Superstar will look amazing in the process.
