WWE decided that they would turn their house show this Saturday night in Nashville into a WWE Network special. Now that Smackville is taking place, it seems that they’re cancelling a Friday event.

The Four States Fair And Rodeo in Texarkana, Arkansas announced that the scheduled WWE live event for this Friday has been cancelled. Tickets will be refunded for fans who bought them, but it’s unfortunate that they needed to do this.

The WWE Event scheduled for July 26th has been cancelled. Please note that if you paid for your tickets via credit card the amount will be refunded to you within the next 14 days. if you paid cash you can return to the box office after noon today to receive your refund. You must bring in your tickets and have a valid ID to receive your refund. Thank you!

It is interesting that WWE is doing this. Superstars will have even more time off from the road, but that also means they won’t be getting a live event paycheck they were counting on.

That isn’t what they had in mind, but the company is bound to be making a lot of moves that fans might find incredibly curious in the upcoming months.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
