The Raw Reunion special is going to include a ton of names from the past and one big surprise actually appeared at the merchandise stand before the show.
RVD is backstage at the Raw Reunion event, but according to PW Insider it took approval from Impact Wrestling before he could appear.
The former WWE Champion is signed with Impact Wrestling right now and WWE didn’t want to get in any legal issues. Therefore, WWE needed “permission in writing from the promotion to appear tonight.”
It is also reported that RVD’s current Impact Wrestling contract runs until the Bound For Glory pay-per-view which will take place on October 20th, 2019. So don’t expect this to be anything except for a one-time return for RVD in WWE.
