AEW is going to have a global presence as they have already worked out television deals for a good portion of the pro wrestling fans around the world. For the markets that they haven’t secured, more action is definitely coming.

Barnburner reports that AEW is “close” to bringing their television show to TSN in Canada. This could be a big move and if this is announced a lot of Canadians will have access to AEW programming.

BarnBurner has learned that @TSN_Sports is close to bringing @AEWrestling weekly show to their network. Wednesday Night’s. @AEWrestling will go head to head with @Sportsnet Wednesday Night @NHL #Hockey #HockeyTwitter #AEW

AEW has expressed interest in holding televised events outside of the U.S. Therefore, Canada is definitely a logical choice. It’s unclear exactly what AEW is waiting for before they announce an official debut date for their television show, but if they’ve held off on the news this long they might as well save it for All Out when the pro wrestling world will be watching AEW once again.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
