WWE Extreme Rules Match Had Superstars Glued To The Screen Backstage

WWE Extreme Rules was the most extreme night WWE has to offer. One highlighted match featured Aleister Black finally having someone pick a fight with him and it resulted in a barnburner.

WWE is reportedly pushing Aleister Black’s “Black Mass” kick as a one-hit KO finisher that people aren’t getting up from, let alone kicking out of. Things were going well for Cesaro until Black landed that kick.

Brad Shepard reports that WWE Superstars were backstage watching Black and Cesaro closely. There was said to be a lot of high hopes with this match and it certainly did the job.

I was told the boys were watching Cesaro vs Aleister Black on the screen backstage. Management had high hopes for the match last week – I thought it delivered.

Cesaro is on RAW and Aleister Black is a SmackDown Superstar. Therefore, this was a cross-branded match. It might take the Wild Card Rule for this match to happen again, but we wouldn’t mind that at all.
