The New Day walked into WWE Extreme Rules and they were looking to become six-time Tag Team Champions in WWE. They had to topple Heavy Machinery as well as Daniel Bryan and Rowan who were the Planet’s Champions walking into the Philly PPV.

That is exactly what happened as Xavier Woods and Big E hit a Midnight Hour and won the titles.

Now The New Day hold the WWE Championship and the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. Of course, this match took place before Kofi Kingston defended his title against Samoa Joe, but the party was still pretty sweet as Xavier Woods exclaimed “WE GOT ALL OF THEM!”

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
