WWE has a lot of titles floating around and now they might have another very good reason not to let their champions compete at indie events. Because one of their titles was literally stomped on during a recent event and they’re not happy about it.

We previously reported that David Starr stomped on WALTER’s WWE United Kingdom Champion during an indie wrestling event. This action popped the crowd hard, but WWE was not okay with it.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Walter and David Starr actually arranged this spot without letting WWE know about it. Needless to say, the company was not happy about this at all because it was not approved.

As you can imagine, the reaction from WWE was not positive. Many wrestlers thought it was disrespectful and the higher-ups weren’t happy either

It’s not likely that this kind of thing will ever happen again because now WWE will be more aware than ever that they are risking the reputation of their titles when they travel to indie wrestling events.

Hopefully, this doesn’t damage WALTER’s reputation as champion in WWE’s NXT UK brand because it makes all the sense in the worls that he would hold that title.
