Paul Heyman had his fingerprints all over RAW this week. Several segments were shown on the show that fans could just see Heyman pitching backstage, but they weren’t all him. In fact, one major angle was reportedly already set in place before Heyman came on as the new RAW Executive Director.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows joining up with AJ Styles once again and causing The Phenomenal One’s heel turn had nothing to do with Paul Heyman. In fact, it was already in the works before he was put into power backstage.

We previously reported that The Good Brothers either have or will sign new WWE contracts. It was told to Dave Meltzer that they are now both long term with WWE. In fact, they will be “focused on in he new Club group with Styles. This, and the Styles turn, were said to be written out before Heyman was given power.”

Paul Heyman will undoubtedly have a lot of fun booking a heel AJ Styles, but this came about in the creative picture because it was already set in motion. Therefore, WWE’s plan was to turn Styles heel and reunite The Club with or without Paul Heyman as Executive Director or the red brand.
