Eric Bischoff Is Moving To Stamford For New WWE Job & ‘Starting Over From Scratch’

Eric Bischoff is the new Executive Director of SmackDown Live and he is making a huge life change due to this new position.

Bischoff spoke about his new job on 83 Weeks. He not assured people that his podcast won’t be ending, but he also let everyone know that he understands the importance of his new job assignment as well.

“I want to let everyone know, the magnitude of this opportunity and the challenge that goes with it is not lost on me. There have been a couple of times the last few days where I have been driving around in my truck or taking my dog on a hike and I said ‘Wow, this is the biggest opportunity I have ever had in this industry.'”

Therefore, Eric Bischoff is really making a big gesture as he is moving to Stamford Connecticut so he can be closer to WWE HQ. This is a big move because everyone knows how much he loves Cody Wyoming.

“Me, my wife Lori and my dog Nikki are loading the truck and heading to Stamford, with only the clothes on our back and a few boxes and we are starting over from scratch. I have never been more excited. I just can’t wait.”

This is going to be an exciting time for SmackDown Live and hopefully, fans will be able to eventually see the program in a different light. It might take some time before we see Bischoff’s immediate influence on the product, but you never know how quickly he will adapt to this new position as he seems very excited about getting to work.
