WWE gave Eric Bischoff the role of Executive Director of SmackDown Live while Paul Heyman got the same title on RAW. However, this could mean something very interesting if you look at who wasn’t picked.

Triple H runs NXT and he is doing a great job as well. Many have him pegged as the man who will take over WWE’s creative direction whenever (if ever) Vince McMahon steps down or can no longer fulfill that role.

Bischoff and Heyman will have a lot of power in WWE now, but Vince McMahon is still the final say-so in the company. Fightful Select reports that they have spoken to some people backstage and received one very interesting reaction so far.

The first reaction I got was from a longtime star who wondered why Triple H wasn’t pegged for one of the roles.

Triple H isn’t getting a powerful role on the main roster, but he is still WWE’s COO and a high-power executive in the company.

Therefore, The Game does have a certain amount of creative pull. He will also maintain his role in NXT which really is his passion project. However, he was seemingly passed over for one of the two new mega-roles in WWE which is very intriguing.
