AEW Will Have Women’s Tag Team Titles Eventually

AEW has a lot of plans and the financial backing to make them happen. With continued support from fans this seems to be a very good recipe so far.

While speaking to the Steve Austin Show, Tony Khan addressed AEW’s goals. They want to feature serious wrestling and focus on the main event picture first as they prepare to crown the first All Elite World Champion at AEW All Out.

AEW World Tag Team Titles will follow which will be determined by tournament, but eventually the plan is to establish Women’s Tag Team Champions in AEW as well.

“We want to focus on a serious main event picture both in the tag team and singles divisions. When we established a women’s singles, eventually we will establish a women’s tag team titles,”

We will have to wait and see what is in the future for AEW, but they certainly seem to be heading in the right direction.
