Prior to being out of action with an injury, it’s safe to say that Nia Jax wasn’t exactly the most popular of stars on the WWE roster – in the eyes of the fans, that is.
They just didn’t seem to gravitate towards her, with some even believing that she was getting X-Pac heat. Of course, one thing that probably didn’t help was her appearance in the men’s Royal Rumble match, even though it wound up being a pretty awesome spot.
Jax had to get surgery in order to rectify some issues with her knees, and now, she’s provided fans with a short and sweet response regarding how things are going.
It’s going to be interesting to see how WWE decides to book her upon returning to the main roster, because there really are several different ways they could go with it.
It’s doubtful that she’ll return as a babyface, because let’s face it, she’s better as a heel. With that being the case, though, it’s difficult to figure out how to book a monster heel like her – especially in the current landscape of WWE.
A slow build back towards the top of the women’s division seems like the most logical way to go, especially if she is able to improve in the ring before then.
Nia Jax deserves the chance to prove what she’s capable of with an extended run as champion, but we somehow feel like it’ll be a while before that actually ends up coming to fruition.
