WWE has been very cautious about mentioning their partnership with Saudi Arabia since the WWE Crown Jewel event. This was a very controversial topic so they didn’t mention Saudi Arabia on WWE television at all.

In the build up to Super ShowDown, WWE mentioned “Jeddah” as the event’s location and nothing more. The event was simply said to be taking place in Jeddah and no country was mentioned, but that changed as soon as the event took place.

Unlike WWE Crown Jewel where they went the entire event without mentioning Saudi Arabia, WWE made direct mention to the location of the event during WWE Super ShowDown. They kicked off The Revival vs The Usos during the kickoff show match by mentioning Saudi Arabia right away.

Saudi Arabia was mentioned from that point on during the event without hiding the location at all. They event included Saudi Arabia in video packages so there were plans to mention the location of the event during the show.
