WWE Super ShowDown is over and fans have a lot of differing opinions. The company paid top dollar for their Superstars to make the trip no matter where they performed on the card, but Ali won’t be keeping his check.

The former Mustafa announced on Twitter that he is donating all of his earnings from today to Charity Water. This charity’s mission as stated on their social media is: “We’re bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in need around the world.”

As we previously reported Sami Zayn, who was not allowed to attend the Saudi Arabia show, launched his own charity drive for Syria today as Super ShowDown started.

This was a pretty great move on Ali’s part. He might not have had the clout to say no to WWE’s assignment, but he is doing something to make a difference for the better with the cash he would have pulled in from making the long trip to perform in the 50-man battle royal.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
