Ryback hasn’t signed with AEW yet, but you can never say never in pro wrestling.

The former WWE IC Champion is currently out of action, but he is working hard to repair the damage that he endured after taking so many bumps in the ring. He seems very confident about a return to professional wrestling.

One fan asked The Big Guy: “How long until you join AEW.” This prompted a very hopeful response from Ryback. He still has a few things that he needs to get taken care of in regards to his injury recovery, but he promised that a return to the ring is going to happen.

Looks like I’m going to Columbia for my last 2 stem cell procedures possibly in June using more advanced/powerful procedures and believe I will be ready to return second half of 2019 here. If I have to do some Indy shots and remind some people who I am, it will be done.

It’s hard to tell whether Ryback was saying that signing with AEW “will be done” or if he’s just talking about his return to the ring in general. It’s also likely that it won’t take much time for Ryback to remind people about who he is.

Either way, it will be great to have Ryback on the indies because his name has a lot of drawing power which could benefit a lot of promotions across the country.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
