NXT is a place where wrestlers are given the chance to shine and develop their skills as performers – which is one of the reasons why fans get so anxious when their favourites finally get called up to the main roster.

One man who was called up a few years back is Tyler Breeze, and at the time, there was a great deal of optimism over what he could achieve on RAW or SmackDown Live. Alas, aside from the Fashion Files, Tyler wasn’t able to do anything of note, which was mainly due to his booking.

Last night Breeze returned to NXT to quite the reaction from the Full Sail crowd, who were more than happy to welcome him back with open arms.

Prince Pretty made his presence known to the North American Champion Velveteen Dream, who was more than a little surprised to see Tyler come in and steal his thunder.

Now, the two men appear to be on a collision course which is set to end with them squaring off for the aforementioned championship. Of course, you don’t need us to tell you that they could quite easily steal the show when they go head to head.

A lot of fans were worried that Breeze may end up heading back out on the independent circuit and perhaps even go to All Elite Wrestling, but now, he’ll get the chance to reignite the flame he first sparked a few years ago – and fans couldn’t be happier about it.
