Hangman Page was told by AEW that he wasn’t allowed to compete at Double Or Nothing. Pac roughed him up after their match and caused damage to his knee, however, this is all part of the show.

Some fans were worked into thinking that Hangman Page is actually injured. He is not, but if you think that he is then they’re doing their jobs.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Live that although he’s been “pulled” from Double Or Nothing, Hangman Page is still very much expected to be a part of the show.

“He’ll be on the show. I don’t know what the creative is for it, but they’re doing a storyline that he won’t be on the show, but he’ll be on the show.”

The Casino Battle Royal might be an interesting place to see Hangman Page. Because if he wins that match then an All Elite World Title shot would be in his future.

If Page’s match against Pac at Double Or Nothing was set to have that same stipulation, then this might be a good way of getting Hangman Page vs Chris Jericho or Kenny Omega at a later date for AEW’s top title.
