AEW is going to be on TNT is the United States, but they also inked a great deal in the UK which could see them shift some focus to that section of fans as well.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter mentioned that AEW plans on holding UK pay-per-view events to boost their visibility in that market. Tony Khan lives in the UK at times and realizes what kind of benefit that market could bring the company.

AEW will be on iTV in the UK which is a substantial television platform in that market. On the other hand, WWE just took bit of a demotion in regards to their UK television deal.

The game plan is to cultivate the UK market for AEW. This strategy could end up really paying off, especially if AEW offers the kind of wrestling that the UK market doesn’t get through WWE programming.
