AEW will be on TNT. This is all we know about it so far because they only said a television show was coming “later this year.” However, there are some very good ideas about when they will start airing their television show.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that although no start date was announced for an AEW television show, the thinking is that it will obviously depend on what night of the week they decide on airing the show.

Since SmackDown is moving to Fox in October that sets a pretty obvious time frame. Therefore, if they go with Tuesday then the first show could be October 1st and for Wednesday it would be October 2nd. It was noted that “one would still think the start date would be in that range.”

The show’s name has not been decided on either, but as we previously reported AEW really wanted the name Tuesday Night Dynamite for something. It doesn’t make much sense for them to be on Wednesday if they plan on using that name for a television show.

The one thing we know for sure is that AEW is coming to TNT. It was also noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that an actual date for their first show should be announced within the next couple of weeks.
