WWE is full of interesting gimmicks and it seems like one Superstar will be getting a bit of a refresher right in front of our eyes. Nikki Cross recently released video where she teased a change in her character. It appears that she went and did something about it.
Cross lamented after a match a few days ago while she dropped some serious hints that a new character was in order. She was speaking much calmer and any mention of her wanting to play was replaced by introspective questions.
“Tonight… tonight was my chance. The newest Raw Superstar, Nikki Cross… it was my chance to make an impact on Main Event tonight. It was my chance, and I lost. I lost. Is there something I need to change here? Do I need to change? What needs to change? Do I just fight from the ground up, scratching and clawing? What needs to change? I’m always talking in the dark — maybe it’s time to step out of the dark and take a long, good hard look in the mirror.”
During RAW tonight in London, Nikki Cross apparently went through that change. Reports from the show say that Cross was shown backstage and it was strange how different she was behaving. Nikki Cross also found herself in big match too.
Instead of being erratic and unpredictable, Cross was quiet and composed. It is certainly a departure from her former character as SaNITy’s Twisted Sister. Now that SaNITy is no more it makes us wonder if the WWE Universe will see a brand new Nikki Cross as well.
