All Elite Wrestling is getting out one announcement after another at this point and a United States television deal is a very important part of that puzzle. Talks with Turner look to have paid off. Now it appears like we’re only waiting for it to be made official.

The Wrap reports that a deal between AEW and Turner is “virtually done.” They do not expect to have any financial specifics of this deal announced because All Elite Wrestling is not a publicly traded company.

Tony Khan and wrestlers (although no names were specified) are expected to be in NYC at Madison Square Garden for the pitch to advertisers. The current plan is that the partnership will be officially announced an hour before WarnerMedia’s Upfront presentation.

This is a very big deal for AEW and as we previously reported this could be the reason why a streaming deal in the USA has not been announced yet either.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
