WWE needs to figure out how to pull the ratings up. Tonight’s RAW could be an unpredictable show, but they had a cancel a live event to make it happen.

Corbin Kentucky was set to host a SmackDown Live house show tonight. However, that show is now rescheduled for October. This decision didn’t make Corbin fans very happy, but WWE had their reasons for making this change.

John Pollock reported on Post Wrestling that the decision as told by him had nothing to do with the ticket sales for the Corbin, KY show, In fact, it is all about bringing the blue brand to RAW.

The decision to cancel the house show was described to me by one person because they needed talent for Raw and was not an issue with ticket sales.

We will have to wait and see if WWE will make tonight’s RAW from Cincinnati worth the effort. It couldn’t have been easy to make the decision to cut a live event and upset those hometown fans. However, WWE’s ratings really need attention right now.

The build for Money In The Bank could get very interesting, to say the least. Let’s just see if WWE will continue this tactic of canceling Monday house shows or moving talent over to RAW as the weeks progress.

This really isn’t anything new because for the record, Becky Lynch hasn’t worked a Monday SmackDown house show since winning both titles at WrestleMania.
