WWE’s biggest show of the year is a week away and we are still expecting two tag team title matches to be added to the card. After all, the two champions are the The Revival and The Usos which are teams the company wants to keep as happy as possible.

Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s initial plans during Wrestling Observer Radio. The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal could have revealed that these matches are going to take place and when comparing the line-up with WWE’s original plans it might have given us a little spoiler of sorts.

“The original idea was The Usos, New Day, Sheamus and Cesaro, Aleister Black and Ricochet…. but Aleister Black and Ricochet got moved out because they’re gonna be in the RAW Tag Team Title match. We know that the Hardys are in the Battle Royal. Who’s not in the battle royal is Nakamura and Rusev so I’m thinking Nakamura and Rusev is the fourth team.”

WWE scheduled a RAW Tag Team Title match for next week’s show. This is a very interesting development as well because a non-finish or title change could set up another match at the show of shows. It is also very intriguing how Black and Ricochet are scheduled for an NXT Tag Team Title match at NXT TakeOver: New York just days prior to the big event.
