WWE is always looking to add to their roster and they love cross-over athletes. This is why they really pay attention to them while they’re in college and it has paid off in the past.

The company has a policy to not sign or make an offer to college wrestlers before their 4 years are up. They don’t want to burn any bridges. However, when Penn State had Pro Day for their football team WWE couldn’t pass up another opportunity to show up and take a look.

This is the company’s second year showing up for Penn State’s pro day. 247 Sports reports that WWE could possibly have their eye on Chasz Wright, better known as “Big Bacon.” The 6-foot-7 332 pounder did 25 reps on the bench press and a 5.42 40-yard dash. It was also noted that the XFL was present at the Pro Day as well.

WWE is still looking to bring in more athletes that they can turn into Superstars with the help of their performance center. In the end, it all boils down to who is the most interested.
