Leading Candidates To Replace Mustafa Ali At WWE Elimination Chamber

Mustafa Ali will very likely be pulled from the WWE Elimination Chamber match this Sunday. They will probably get that done tonight. There is big gauntlet match set up for SmackDown Live and Ali can’t work right now due to his current injury.

Now WWE needs to fill Mustafa Ali’s spot and Dave Meltzer commented on Wrestling Observer Radio that there are only a couple of people possible for that role.

“Rey Mysterio and Andrade would possibly be your leading candidates for that spot.”

It was noted that WWE could insert Shinsuke Nakamura or Rusev in that position as well. However, both of them seem to be headed toward a triple threat match for R-Truth’s WWE United States Title. We will have to wait and see, but WWE will very likely need to do something.
