Hideo Itami asked for his WWE release and by all reports, WWE is going to give him what he wants. Of course, they will require a 90-day no-compete clause to be part of that deal.

However, the separation between Hideo and WWE is not a done deal yet. This won’t stop plenty of his fellow WWE Superstars from throwing out tons of support.

PW Insider reports that WWE has not granted Hideo Itami’s release from the company yet. They are highly expected to though.

Last night Hideo Itami said his goodbyes to the roster because it was his final scheduled date with the company. His last match was against his friend Akira Tozawa who he put over on his way out.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
