Dean Ambrose is leaving WWE. Now that the word is out WWE issued an official statement on the matter.

Adam Martin, founder of Wrestle View tweeted out a statement that he received from WWE regarding Dean Ambrose’s current WWE status. They acknowledge that he will not be re-signing with the company, but are hoping for his eventual return.

“Just received this from #WWE: ‘Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.'”

This is very interesting because WWE has never done this before that we can think of. Ambrose’s contract isn’t up for a couple of months either so this certainly seems like they are preparing for a WWE Universe without the Lunatic Fringe.
