Wrestle Kingdom 13 is officially in the books, and the show will be remembered for many reasons. One of them, above all others, will be because all eight championships that were up for grabs on the main card changed hands at the Tokyo Dome.

Will Ospreay kicked things off by capturing the NEVER Openweight Championship from Kota Ibushi, before Los Ingobernables de Japon managed to wrestle the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships away from the grasp of Suzuki-gun.

Zack Sabre Jr then managed to dethrone Tomohiro Ishii and win the British Heavyweight Championship, and by this point, it certainly felt like they were rushing through the card.

LIJ continued their strong night by winning the IWGP Tag Team Championships, before Juice Robinson defeated Cody to win the IWGP United States Championship.

Taiji Ishimori beat Kushida to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, with a non-title match coming up next as Jay White defeated Kazuchika Okada.

The two big matches of the night followed, and in the end, it was Tetsuya Naito and Hiroshi Tanahashi who defeated Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega respectively to win the IWGP Intercontinental & Heavyweight Championships.

As the night went on the fans were certainly starting to notice that the tide was turning in favour of the challengers, but few could’ve imagined they’d go all the way and have all titles change hands.

It was one of those ‘changing of the guard’ evenings that will likely be remembered for a long time to come, especially if you’re a fan of The Elite who actually went winless tonight.
