Big Cass was set to compete at the House Of Hardcore event in Philadelphia at the 2300 Arena, but he suffered a seizure and things took an unexpected turn for him. He was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
David Onda reported on Twitter that Cass went into a seizure and fell to the floor of the lobby of the old ECW Arena during the show’s intermission. He was previously sitting and signing autographs before this tragic event took place.
An ambulance came to the scene and EMTs tended to the former WWE Superstar. He was supposed to appear during the second half of the show, but that isn’t happening now.
It was reported that Tommy Dreamer went to the ring and asked fans to say a prayer for Big Cass.
Big Cass has been performing on the indie wrestling scene since his 90-day no compete clause expired after his WWE release. He has wrestled as both heel and a babyface under than names Big C and Big Cazz.
Our best wishes go out to Big Cass in this scary situation.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
