This week’s episode of RAW wasn’t as bad as last week, but the WWE Universe and the ratings will be the real judge of that. Ronda Rousey and Ember Moon defeated Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka in the main event, but there was a bit more of a show for the live crowd in Houston.
WWE had initially advertised a dark match between Baron Corbin and Elias for the show. But then the acting RAW GM came out and made a change to that match.
Instead of a singles match, Corbin abused his power to create a handicap match where Baron, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley would face Elias instead. This didn’t stand for long though as Dolph Ziggler and Finn Balor ran down to make this a six-man tag team match instead. It’s interesting that this match got “officially” changed seeing how there are no babyface authority figures on RAW.
In the end, the babyfaces won and the crowd went home happy after a six-man match.
