Impact Wrestling stars LAX were removed from the upcoming EVOLVE shows, leading to Gabe Sapolsky announcing that EVOLVE management would no longer book Impact Wrestling talent for their shows.
It now seems that NXT Tag Team Champion Roderick Strong of The Undisputed Era will serve as a replacement “name” talent on the card- joining the likes of his fellow NXT comrades in Kassius Ohno, Fabian Aichner, The Street Profits, and others.
Strong sent out a tweet, revealing he would be showing up at the December 15 show at La Boom and was quickly challenged by notable EVOLVE name Darby Allin for a bout at the December 16 show in Deer Park. Both of these matches will take place in New York- and will serve as the EVOLVE 117 and EVOLVE 118 shows.
Strong has competed in EVOLVE before, capturing numerous Championships before being signed to his WWE contract. As he explains in his tweet, the main Championship that alluded him was the EVOLVE Championship- and now that NXT talent are capturing Championships in Sapolsky’s promotion, it seems Strong thinks it is time to “shock the system.”

When do you think The Undisputed Era will get the call-up, and what would your reaction be to the proverbial placement of the group on RAW or SmackDown Live? Let us know your thoughts, reactions, and opinions in those comments below.
