Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake is a wrestling icon. He has been in the industry for a long period of time. The most recent news involving Beefcake hasn’t been positive, as the veteran has been accused of no-showing indie events he had already been paid for.
In an update to the story- we now know Beefcake is adamantly denying all claims that he no-showed an event. Beefcake calls this, quite predictably, “fake news,” and responded to several fans and personalities to reiterate his innocence amongst these accusations.
You can find a series of these replies below. It seems, however, that Beefcake is owed money by the promotion and not the other way round. Beefcake claims on his Twitter account that he had a family emergency.
We understand Bodyslam has reached out to all parties involved for further comment- though nothing has been confirmed with complete legitimacy right now.

As you can see, Beefcake has had no shortage of tweets to respond to this. The situation, if true from Beefcake’s end- is likely that Beefcake had a family emergency and had to pull out early. He may have been paid in advance, and some feel this was wrong since he didn’t stay for the entire tour due to the family emergency.
