Ronda Rousey came out on WWE Raw this week and she had a lot to say about Charlotte Flair. Her chest was still red from the stiff chops she took on the previous night and her fire was still burning to get a piece of The Queen. But instead, Baron Corbin gave Rousey Mickie James as an opponent and they had a three-minute match that wasn’t impressive at all.
Dave Meltzer discussed the differences on Wrestling Observer Radio between Rousey’s match at Survivor Series and her performance last night on Raw while describing the kind of preparation both Flair and Rousey had for their Staples Center confrontation.

“Her and Charlotte spent whatever it was, three days on that match with Fit Finlay going over everything and when they came out they really had a hell of a match.”

Fit Finlay has been working in a backstage capacity for WWE for quite a while and Hornswoggle’s daddy was the man who helped put together Flair and Rousey’s big Survivor Series battle.
It turns out that Rousey might not need weeks to rehearse for a match at this point if they were able to pull that kind of performance off with three-days notice. However, she might not be ready to lock up with just anyone at a moment’s notice like she did with Mickie James on Raw because the results won’t always be as impressive.
