WWE had a lot of options to go with when they booked Survivor Series after their plans were totally changed around following Roman Reigns’ departure from the company. According to Rajah, WWE was planning a third Survivor Series match for tonight’s 2018 edition of the Survivor Series event.
The initial plan was to get a 5 on 5 Cruiserweight match going on the Survivor Series show which there’s no doubt those 10 guys would have went all out, but it was not meant to be.
It is reported that the idea was scrapped over the last two weeks and if you look back at the 205 Live program, you can kind of see that by the way they were positioning things.
But at least the Cruiserweights will have at least one match which will also be the only actual title match on the Survivor Series show this year with Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali.
