WWE Evolution is set to take place this Sunday with no controversy surrounding it — except for the fact that WWE officials seem to view it as not that big of deal at this point. But the main event is going to be worthy of a TMZ story as Ronda Rousey will defend her Raw Women’s Title against Nikki Bella.
It’s been noted that their main event match will likely be short for a couple very good reasons. They don’t want to expose Rousey’s lack of experience in the ring and also, Nikki needs to think about her neck. After all, she’s likely to get tossed around by Rowdy Ronda a couple of times anyway.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Rousey and Bella have been practicing their match all week to be certain that they’re ready for the Evolution main event. Hopefully, this includes a couple of spots that we’ll be talking about the next day for the right reason.
So if you’re in the New York area, there really should be no reason not to go to Evolution. Because they’re working hard on the main event and for that matter, secondary ticket prices are literally steal at this point.
