WWE is always looking into ways of expanding their empire and it seems like they’re carrying on with the idea of doing a tiered pay system for the WWE Network. While the pay scale isn’t established yet, the idea is that for more money, then you’d get even more content.
Our good friends at PW Insider report that WWE is filming tonight’s house show in Boston. They’re doing it with a scaled-down crew as well.
The idea is that this is the kind of presentation that they might be able to offer for the WWE Network. So they’re testing it out before they start making this a regular thing.
The thinking is that they will also film the Starrcade event in Cincinnati next month as well with the same kind of crew. Therefore, it is reported that a $15 a month tier on the WWE Network means that fans will finally have the option of watching house shows available to them.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
