Charlotte Flair was cut open pretty badly after her match with Becky Lynch didn’t result in a title change. Instead, there was a count out followed by Paige making a historic announcement for Lynch vs Flair at WWE Evolution. The two will compete in the first-ever Last Woman Standing Match in WWE History but before that announcement was made, Flair arm was cut a few times and left her bloody after her arm was sliced by the LED wall that she speared Becky Lynch through. If you want to see the spot, you can check it out here.
Flair was fine and able to compete alongside AJ Styles in that night’s WWE Mixed Match Challenge show, but you have to wonder if a lesser Superstar would have taken the rest of the night off.
Charlotte had some time to reflect on her match last night and posted a picture of her mishap on SmackDown to Twitter along with the message: “I believe in blood, sweat and tears.”
Hopefully, Lynch vs Flair will be epic at Evolution and they give the two of them time to stretch out and tell a good story. Because no matter who the winner is, both woman will leave Evolution as champions in many fans’ eyes.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
